I canot find out how to apply a logical filter (i.e. Field1=.T. .AND. Field2=.F.) when printing reports.

With character field (fieldz=aaa) I have no problems. Can anyone help?

On the surface of it, your expression should work, so i have to ask some basic questions.

1. Are Field1 and Field 2 both logical fields (sorry, I had to ask)

2. One of my big struggles is with the logic itself. Are you sure you mean .and. and not .or. ?

3. Another way to write the same formula is Field1 .and. .not.Field2. Does that make any difference?

4. Where are you aplying that filter? In the report design or in a script prior to running the report? If the first, you need to make sure that the script is not setting the filter one way and then the report changing that.

Otherwise, to me it should work.

Hi Pat,

Thanks for your ideas.

It turned out to be antother problem: something wrong in A5.
When I closed A5 and started it again, the filter worked. (Bug?)
