I HAVE CREATED A SAVED SEARCH TO TEST FOR THE IBM
NEGATIVE OVER PUNCH WHICH IS FOUND IN THE RIGHTMOST
DIGIT OF A NUMBER. SINCE THIS SEARCH INVOLVES AN *A
LOOKUP TEN TIMES IT IS QUITE TIME CONSUMING TO RE-KEY
THE SEARCH. WHAT I WANT TO DO IS TO BE ABLE TO ACCESS
THIS SAVED SEARCH FROM WHAT EVER DATA BASE THAT I MAY
BE IN.I COPIED THE SAVED SEARCH TO OTHER DATA BASES BUT IT COULD
NOT BE ACCESSED WITHIN THE NEW DATABASE. YOU CAN, HOWEVER,
ACCESS THE SAME SCRIPT IN DIFFERENT DATABASES. APPRECIATE
ANY HELP AND THANKS IN ADVANCE.

If you create a script to run the saved search you can use it on any dbf or set that is currently open as long as the search is relevant for the dbf it is being used on.
