Language layout problem.

Recently, I upgraded to Windows 98 and during installation chose my keyboard language option as English (Canadian). After trying to enter a new record in Alpha, all my ",', and / showed as a french a and e with an apostrophe above them. It also seemed to show in my wordprocessing programs, so I changed my keyboard language layout in my Control Panel to English (American). Now I have normal use of ",',and / in all my windows based programs, but it still comes up as a french a and e in my Alpha program. So I tried reinstalling alpha four in hopes it would help, and it didn't.

Can anyone help me figure out this problem?
