I have an application that I distribute as a Run-Time. There is a form which I have set the form properties menu/toolbars to "none" so that the users can only do the operations, etc. that I allow. This is done to keep the interface simple.

I would like the "Find & Replace" function to be available to them without the other options under file, edit, view, form, etc.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Build your own button...

"OBJECT".FIND_AND_REPLACE()
Syntax
"OBJECT".FIND_AND_REPLACE()
Description
The "OBJECT".FIND_AND_REPLACE() method applies to:
Browses (for "OBJECT" use either the "BROWSE" pointer or the name of the browse)
Forms (for "OBJECT" use either the "FORM" pointer or the name of the form)
The "OBJECT".FIND_AND_REPLACE() method displays the Find and Replace dialog box. If the form has Change mode restricted, then only then Find tab is shown
Example
dim ptr as P
ptr = form.load("Customer Information")
ptr.show()
ptr.find_and_replace()

Thanks Stan, that did the trick. My customers will be very happy, as will I.
