Not sure if this is the correct place to post, but I am using Alpha 5 v7 to do quick desktop searches for our products from our hosted webstore (Volusion ). I also am using it to link products to their pdf's on our internal server for printing.

I would like to take the next step and integrate it into our backend of the webstore using Volusion's xml API. Currently they have a StoneEdge (desktop order manager software using Access DB) API, but this solution costs $1,500 and each workstation needs Access installed. Then StoneEdge integrates to Quickbooks. This software caters to thousands of users using different ecommerce platforms, so it is complicated and not very customizable, at least from our demo.

so, is this new Platinum able to do API integration and read and write back using XML?

Also, I would be willing to hire or co-develope this for an order manager software for Volusion users as there are many users that need a solution more user friendly and written for Volusion.
