Maybe I'm doing this wrong, dunno. I followed the mapped table example in "What's New" that links Invoice_Hdr to Customer. Worked just fine.

In another database, I made a simple table SETTOP.DBF of vendor numbers, and generated a complete VENDOR.DBF as well.

The mapping all appears to go well and VENDORLIST appears in the control panel.

But when I try to open it, I get "Error Loading VENDORLIST.DBF: Tagname not found.

I didn't have indexes on the linking key, so I made 'em. Still get the error.

Database is attached so you can see.

you are not doing anything wrong. it was a bug. it is fixed now.

if your index name on the child table had been vendor_id (and not id), your example would have worked.
