View Full Version : Batch Tag Records and Print Labels

Is there a way to bring up a table or browse and allow the user to selectively tag specific records and print them out using an Avery template. Is it also possible to point to the starting label (ex. a users prints 10 labels on a 3 across 10 down sheet. The next time he/she prints, he/she should batch tag the next group of members and tell the system that the 1st member of the batch should start printing on the 11th label of the sheet.

Found the Mark and Un-Mark Record's syntax, however, I do not see an easy way to Un-Mark all records with one Push of a Button. The client may select 50 members to print a label for and the only way to un-mark those 50 would be to un-mark each seperately, I think? Is there a way to un-mark "all" that were matked on a Push of a button? Perhaps some script to loop through the browse database, and un-mark all?

Please help.

Thanks, Rudy

Rudy, when processing a batch of records think "operations". Check the list of available "operations".

Done! This system is sick! Nowing where to look and what to look for is key to learning. Your pointer save me lots of time.

Is there a way to point to a start printing position on a sheet of labels or is this very complex to code?

This messageboard has a wealth of information. I did a search using "label position" with the quotes and returned a few threads including this one which may be what you are looking for....

This is an alternate thread with some info that might help.
