Need to see and delete files from the client's root directory on their C: drive.

The client is using Windows 7.

The display of files in the root directory is being suppressed. What do I need
to do in order to be able to see them using Windows Explorer?

I've tried changing the folder option that restricts the display of "hidden" files. Does
not help. Still can't see the files.

I'm still trying to figure out some Win7 file issues too Tom.

There's always the good 'ol DOS (Command) prompt if this is critical.

Hi Tom
My own Win7 doesnt block anything in root.
C drive properties are all set to allow (under security) and in advanced there is a column for "This folder and subfolders"/ "Subfolders only". I can block it by changing these settings.
I presume by now you have checked MS boards with the problem
