Re: Disable Grid Checkbox
Rich:
Yes, I understand about getSelectedRow(), I guess I was "hoping against hope" when I used it. But the disabling DOES work when I click on the row, so the code in "myFunction" IS working (also because the coloring appears correctly). Note that the help for the "Conditional Styles" dialog for the row DOES indicate you can use a user-defined function in the Logical Expression and can pass that function field values. I haven't tried e.rowNumber but I suppose it makes sense to do so (since the help didn't indicate that variable is passed to the function I didn't want to rely on it).
As to "onGridRowRender", as I say, the code executes if I don't use row conditional styling, it doesn't if I don't. Now I suppose it IS possible that when conditional styling is in effect that event may still be called but somehow Alpha makes some of the variables unavailable or something else is changed so as to make the code throw an error, but I have used simple "alerts" in that code and they still don't execute. I think, though, you are absolutely correct about debugging the js to determine once and for all if the "onGridRowRender" event is or is not called when row conditional styling is in effect.
Thanks again, let me get into the client-side debugger.
