AJAX callback - how to update fields on an independent GRID?

I have two independent grids GRID_A and GRID_B. They are independent to each other as they have NO link or parent/child relationship.
When GRID_A is updated on the page, I have some calculations that need to update the summary rows (multiple rows) in the GRID_B.
Both GRID_A and GRID_B are on a single a5w page - PAGE_AB.a5w.

I have a button on GRID_A where I do a AJAX Callback to do this
--Javascript on the Button.
{grid.Object}.ajaxCallback('G','ALL','myfunction_123','','',{});

The xbasic code need to do this
1) Verification of displayed data on GRID_A
2) Updates few fields on GRID_A
3) Updates/recalculate values in multiple rows on GRID_B.

I am able to do 1) and 2) above using the e._setRow... and e.V.R1... notation on the xBasic code based on earlier help - So No problem,
but unable to do 3) how do I access GRID_B on the server code to read and update its rows/fields in the xBasic Code? - Help!

I saw that there are various placeholders in java that can be used for Ajax Callbacks - Example: {Grid.object} and {dialog.object}.
What is a lowest level (similar to root level or window level) placeholder that I can use for the Ajax Callback (also need a way to access it, if that exists)?
My idea is to go to the lowest level object that I can access and then access the other objects on the windows (various Grid/UI/pages/etc) using their hardcoded names of those objects that I already have - once I am at the root. (Example: GRID_B in my example).
{grid.Object}.ajaxCallback('G','ALL','myfunction_123','','',{})
{dialog.Object}.ajaxCallback('G','ALL','myfunction_123','','',{})
{LOWERT_LEVEL_OR_ROOT_NEED_HELP.Object}.ajaxCallback('G','ALL','myfunction_123','','',{})
Please help!

Just posted a similar problem. I will let you know if find a solution.

Have you tried setting the grid to auto-refresh and then adding any xbasic that you would need to the initialize method of Grid B?

If I do the above then I may have access to displayed data from Grid B, but then will not have the displayed data from Grid A.
I need both the displayed data from Grid A and Grid B at the same time to calculate the new (multi-row summary) values that will appear in GRID B.

I know Alpha Anywhere can do this but just not sure how, especially with the object oriented technology and having the right handle (pointer) to the objects that I do (see below).

Using the http://www.screencast.com/t/ZTQxMGJhO where following what Jeff Cogswell has suggested, I am saving the name of a {Grid.object} placeholder to a global variable.
Grid1 - onGridRender Client Side Event
window['GRID_A']={Grid.object};
Grid2 - onGridRender Client Side Event
window['GRID_B']={Grid.object};

Now, how do I send/post both these objects to the XBasic Code on the Server using the Ajax Callbacks - at the same time!
I need data from all these rows in the GRID_A and also GRID_B on the server side code to do my processing/business logic.

I am able to successfully send just the GRID_A data using
window['GRID_A'].ajaxCallback('G','All','myfunction3','','',{});
OR send just the GRID_B data using
window['GRID_B'].ajaxCallback('G','All','myfunction3','','',{});

But not both?

How do I send All rows from both the GRID_A and GRID_B at the same time.
Note: As you see I am not sending just one or two argument/value from the second GRID - need to send all the rows/fields from the second Grid.
Help!
