I have an app with three separate ux components.
1st ux = Student list
2nd ux = Class List
3rd ux = Days Attended List
the first component is a list of students and has an onClick event in the row properties of the list to open the 2nd ux to whichever row was selected from the first list. The third list opens when a row in the 2nd list is selected. This app uses panel cards as this is going to be accessed by an ipad or iphone.
Component two and three has a back button that closes the current window in order to go to the previous component. My problem is that when you select a row in any of the components, before you can use the "back" button, it says "You must first save your changes or cancel changes by clicking the Reset button". This has forced me to add a reset button in order to go back. This forces you to press the reset button, confirm resetting the form, then use the back button. How can I by pass this?
BTW, the intention of this app is Read-Only, but if i set the list properties to Read-Only, it does not allow you to click a row, and If the user can not click a row it wont pass the argument value to the next component that is being opened.
Any Ideas here?
EDIT: the method my "back" button is using is {dialog.object}.closeContainerWindow(this);, if that makes any difference?
