Hello,
I am stumped on what should be a pretty straightforward process.
I need to upload an image from a web app to Amazon S3, then download that same image to multiple mobile platforms, both iOS and Android running under Phonegap.
The image is uploaded to S3 with Authenticated Read enabled and I have confirmed the upload is completed with the correct file name via Cloudberry.
However I cannot get the file to download to the mobile device. For my test build I'm using a UX with a single panel with an image field, a character field and a button with the Action Javascript "File Download" so there are no possible conflicts with other processes. I'm using the same connection string used to upload the image.
To debug, I have tried with Authenticated Read enabled and disabled. Within the File Download Action Javascript I have tried both direct and indirect downloads, specifying the Amazon target name both via fieldname and explicit, and configured the file on S3 with both http and https protocols.
Another peculiarity is that in the Action Javascript File Download panel, the file not found message is in the format: "File {shortFilename} not found". However the error message I receive is a Javascript Alert "Not Found" from the localhost - capital N, not lowercase.
I'm running version 12.4.6.2.3 Build 6985.
Any ideas and guidance on where to look for possible issues or how to get this to work is greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Joe
