How to retrieve CSV string from application/vnd.ms-excel content type?

In a a5w endpoint i wrote, the posted json data i receive has a "content" field with contenttype "application/vnd.ms-excel". How can i retrieve the csv string in the "content" field in xbasic?

LOL...sometimes in the midst of concentration i think everyone understands what i am speaking about. Let me elaborate.

I have an app where the user receives, a few times a day, an email with an attached CSV file. The file needs to be imported into a MariaDB table for further processing.
I want to automate this as much as possible, so i stumble upon a really great service - Postmark. It's a service that allows you (among plenty of other good stuff) to send mail to it and have those mails converted to JSON and sent to your app, including attachments. It does that through a webhook you need to build in your app. In Alpha Anywhere the simplest way to do this is through an a5w page that servers as a Service Endpoint (https://documentation.alphasoftware....oint/index.xml) .
My service endpoint is extremely easy and straightforward, it runs something like:

dim p as p = json_parse(request.body)
dim Att as p = p.Attachments[1]
dim json as C = extension::json::JsonFromCSV(Att.Content)
result = sql_import("myConnection", "myTable", "", json)

So i sent the mail with the attached CSV to my Postmark address, which successfully sent it to my service endpoint, where i saved the received request.body to a text file for debugging purposes, but nothing was inserted to the table.
While analyzing the received JSON in request.body, the attachment is sent as ContentType "application/vnd.ms-excel" and the actual Content field has excel encoded data, not plain text which is what i needed. Googled this a bit and it seems that's the right way to POST csv data.
I opened a ticket at Postmark, asking if there is a way to force this to be sent as text. In the meantime i posted here trying to look at some way to manipulate the received data and insert it into my table.

Update - i'm an idiot :-)
The string inside Att.Content is just base64 encoded...decoded it ( using xbasic's base64decode function ) and all is well...
