Select ALL rows in a list

I have a list control in a UX. I want to have a button in my UX that when pressed selects all rows in the list. Anyone know the JS for this? ...thanks in advance.

Maybe you can make this work.

Yes, literally. Occasionally my list my have over 200 records and instead of my client having to click on each one to process it would be nice to just select all rows in the list.

Understood... but I don't think you need to literally select all rows to get access to all rows. Set a pointer to your List control and you have access to all it's data... in at least a couple of different forms.

var lObj = {dialog.Object}.getControl('LIST1');

There's a treasure of information to be found in this object...

Understood... but I don't think you need to literally select all rows to get access to all rows. Set a pointer to your List control and you have access to all it's data... in at least a couple of different forms.

Thank you David ....Say, just how does one go about finding object information like your examples above?? I don't see this documented in Alpha. Maybe I missed it.

You need to examine the object under the Chrome or Firefox debugger. Firefox has a Firebug add-in which is excellent. Set up a simple UX with a List control and a button. The button's onClick or Click event will contain Javascript. The first line would be debugger; The next line would be as above... create a var and set it with the List obj. Run the UX in Firefox (for example), right click on an empty part of the screen and choose Inspect with Firebug. The inspector will open up and you can now click on the button. That will fire off the debugger and you'll see your code. You can step through the code and when the lObj is set you'll the objects in the right part of the inspector. You'll see lObj and will able to expand it to see it's properties.
