Let's start positive. It looks nice and gives an overall great impression.
Issues:
1) The extended user maintenance form is built dynamically and everything is a textbox. Not ideal in all situations. Suppose I have a field in my Extended User that is a FK to say a Department (etc). This implementation of building the field on the fly and making everything a textbox at runtime doesn't work well in these scenarios.
2) In the Web Security, Security Settings, "Customize Options", I set the "Default Security Group" to a certain group so when users self register they are automatically assigned to that group. The only problem was that it didn't work and the user was assigned to no group.
3) If you run the wizard to build out the security it builds it based on a TabbedUI control. Why? Does everyone use the tabbedUI other than me?
4) When I configured the ExtendedUser table info in the project properties, as I edit a user and update those values nothing saves to the extended user table
5) When allowing a user to self register, unless I missed it, there is not an option at that time to allow the user to set 2FA settings.
Desired Behavior
1) It would be nice during a self registration of a new user if they were sent an email to confirm that they are registering with a valid email that they have access to. Just about everything I've self registered in the last 3 years follows this very basic pattern.
Any thoughts on any of the above issues?
Thanks,
Jeremy
