I'm having a terrible time with consistent font/screen size in my mobile app when viewing on my Android device versus a desktop WEB browser.
Originally I wasn't using the Android device to view data. Then I changed my login from using just a UX component to use the AppLauncher so I could design a UX for the Android. I'm using the security built in to the AppLauncher now.
When using a UX component for a login, the security field sizes were fine and very legible. Now when I try to log in using the Android, the login is sub-miniature. Yes, I can make it bigger fiddling around with taps and swipes. Didn't have this problem using a straight UX component.
After logging in, the screen is OK. But then if I enter some text, while selecting a textbox, the screen zooms in. from that point on, the screen becomes unmanagable. It's almost impossible to get the screen back to the same way it looked when first opening the app. It's either too large or too small. End up tapping, swiping, rotating and sometimes logging out and back in.
I tried playing with a number of setting in the appLauncher without much success.
I'm not sure, but it's almost like the UX inherits something from the appLauncher. Maybe not.
There are so many different settings for height, width. Does anyone have a good starting point. I'm sure I'm missing something.
Thanks.
