I've got a user profile table in which i save the contents of a few fields that the user submits. It used to work, and i could save the submitted data to the table by calling {dialog.object}.submit(), using Action Javascript. Recently, i added a login page. Also, i added an Xbasic procedure which responds to an Ajax callback ( under the click event of the Submit button, right after {dialog.object}.submit() ), in order to provide a method by which already logged in users could edit their profile. The Xbasic procedure contains SQL-update code for the user profile record the user is viewing and editing, and this works flawlessly.
But besides this update method, it must be possible for new users to enter their profile information and click the same Submit button. Earlier, this worked. Now, it seems that Save_submitted_data_to_table_s is never called. Possibly, submit doesn't work as before, and there are no data for a save. Or, Server-side events won't fire after submit. No data is entered in the profile table, and also, the profile image chosen by the user is not uploaded to the final folder. Again, this used to work without problems. I only added the Ajax-callback to the click event of the Submit button, for the SQL-update in case the user has logged in and wants to change it's profile, and that's when it started to hesitate.
I already tried to move the {dialog.object}.submit() call to the Xbasic procedure. This procedure splits in two, depending on if the user is logged in. If it's not logged in, the procedure does a simple submit. But again, this doesn't work and the save never happens.
