xbasic Help Saving list data to a database

I want to move list data from one list to another list.

I then want at the end to save all data in the new list to a database.

I understand the basics of getting the list data, I understand how to save one record to SQL.

My problem is I don't understand the syntax of looping through the p variable.

Selwyn has built a video and given a static data component with Firstname, LastName and City.
If I move 3 rows to the new list how do I save those values to my table List_Save?

Can you post the code you are using to move the values? Is it being done in xbasic or javascript?

If in xbasic, you simply could do a sql insert for each row.

If it's in javascript, you could data-connect the new list. Once all the values are moved to it, just synchronize.

Those are the basic methods - the code would need a further study of what you have setup.

Larry I am rather stumbling in the dark.

If in xbasic, you simply could do a sql insert for each row.

I can of course save one row at a time, my aim is to save 50-100 rows in one callback.

The code above is me testing the saving of one record.

So I have _dataToSubmit.

e is _dataToSubmit. Then instead of the JSON array in the code take e._listData as the array of JSON objects, like this:

The pre-release has some new sql import functions... one of them "sql_import()" which takes data in a couple of different ways... JSON being an option.
