SQL execute works fine on web, causes problems when used on mobile web

Hi there,

I have a web app, that upon pressing a button, it uses an ajax callback to insert into a mssql database. Everything works fine on web, it submits and inserts into the DB with no problem. When I do the exact same thing on firefox for android, I get an execute error.

Could it be possibly that something on mobile doesn't support mssql? Or something else?

The mobile device doesn't "talk" directly with the MS SQL database (nor does your web browser for the case where you say it works). The ajax callback works the same in both cases: the desktop browser or the mobile "browser" calls the application server and the app server talks with MS SQL. It is a 3-tier architecture: application client (browser) / application server / backend database.
Your client browser doesn't really know anything about what the backend database is so that isn't your problem.

So I found the issue:
One of the fields submitted is the time, i.e. 9:30AM, which is gotten from the device like this:

var time = new Date(); 
time = time.toLocaleString('en-US', { hour: 'numeric',minute:'numeric', hour12: true });
{dialog.Object}.setValue('timeOfClockIn',time,true)

On web it reads in and displays simply as 9:30AM

This doesn't seem to work on android, as it gives me the full time, i.e.

Anyone know why it does this?

instead try this
( do not use time as field name, may not be good)
t1 = new Date();
t1 = t1.toFormat("0h:0m AM");
{dialog.Object}.setValue('timeOfClockIn',time,true);
