Hi everyone
Using Alpha Anywhere v4.5.0 - Build 4584
I have a List Control from which I'm trying to create an Ascii file. I've created a Action Javascript to Export List data to Excel/Ascii, and by default it works as expected.
However, I have a few things I need to "customise" around this function and am stuck - hoping to get some insight from users on this forum.
Issue 1
I have 53 fields in the List. However, I only want to export Field 2 - Field 53, thus, I do NOT want Field 1 to be part of my Ascii file. In the "Export Settings" I've checked the box that says "Only export columns for which customize options are defined" - however, I have no idea where to go and toggle this option and can't seem to find this within documentation.
Issue 2
I do NOT want the field headers to be part of the Ascii file. I've hidden the column headers on the list so it does not show in the UX, but it still exports into the Ascii file.
Issue 3
This Ascii file is a fairly important integration file, and as such I'd like the file to be automatically saved to a unc path rather than opened up for the user to then go and save. I realise this will be done through the "Export after action" which is to be set to XBasic Function. If anyone has some sample code on how to save the Ascii file using XBasic, that will be awesome!
Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions.
Cheers
Silvan
