I have seen a few posts related to that but "thought" this problem was fixed in v12.
Here is my export script, it stops exporting at 16384 records. I have to assume there is an error in the following script:
dim tbl as P
tbl = table.open("work")
export.file = "work.xls"
export.type = 4
export_names = .T.
export.names = export_names
export.options = "Q"
export.field_sep = ","
export.rec_sep = "<TAB>"
export.fields = 29
export.field1 = "WORKNO"
export.field2 = "TYPE"
export.field3 = "PRIORITY"
export.field4 = "WORKSTAT"
export.field5 = "WORKDATE"
export.field6 = "COMPETDATE"
export.field7 = "EQUIPMENT"
export.field8 = "EQPNAME"
export.field9 = "DEPARTMENT"
export.field10 = "COSTCENTER"
export.field11 = "D2"
export.field12 = "PROJECT"
export.field13 = "TIME"
export.field14 = "SIGNOFF"
export.field15 = "PM_NUMBER"
export.field16 = "COMMENTS"
export.field17 = "REQUEST"
export.field18 = "D3"
export.field19 = "LEADSKILL"
export.field20 = "CREWSIZE"
export.field21 = "SUPERVISOR"
export.field22 = "D1"
export.field23 = "RFOCODE"
export.field24 = "DOWNTIME"
export.field25 = "D4"
export.field26 = "D5"
export.field27 = "NAME"
export.field28 = "TIMENTER"
export.field29 = "CONTACTINFO"
tbl.export()
sys_open("work.xls")
BTW, I use the spreadsheet in OpenOffice and it goes far beyond the 16384 record size. I did a test with Quick Export with same data and it did not hit the wall at 16384. I would prefer the above script as the columns I want are important & only ones I want. Is the script above wrong?
Any suggestions how to revise the above script to make it work above 16384 would be much appreciated.
