When I open a dialog to Submit some data from my published application in Firefox, the error tips will not display when hovering over a field with an error on submit. The tips DO display when I open my app in Internet Explorer. This is happening in more than one dialog component.
I have been in touch with Alpha about this and they do not think it is a bug because they did a test, AND sent their test dialog to me, AND their test dialog also worked for me in Firefox. I have combed through my own dialogs to see what might be different but am stumped. It's almost impossible to send them my dialogs because they are complex, based on dynamic connections, and on numerous session variables for the data.
The main thing I don't understand is why the error tips will display in IE but not in Firefox. (I updated to latest Firefox yesterday and still have prob.)
After submitting dialog, fields with errors do turn red, AND bubble help will display on hover, so for now I'm just informing user about the field requirements with the bubble text. But would like to resolve... When hovering over a field with an error in FF, FF starts showing that there are page errors. Each time I hover, a new error occurs as follows:
ele.style is undefined
[Break On This Error] this._e.splice(indx,1);},_mover:functi...)return false;pEle=pEle.parentNode;}
I'm posting this because I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this, and if you ended up figuring out its cause. I sent the error msg to Alpha but they said it doesn't tell them much except that some element might be missing.
