I'm having a H-ll of a time, publishing my application to my ISP.
The ISP (WebJogger) set up my Alpha application server, and they gave me folders to publish to, "www" for the app and "data" for the database files, of which I have none. The "www" folder contains a "CSS" folder.
I set up my profile and published to the www folder, but most of the pages and components and none of the CSS styles (standard, stock Alpha5 "Mint" & "Orange Crush") actually made it to the ISP. The Publish operation did NOT give me ANY error messages. The files just disappeared into the ether!
Some of the dialogs work, but there is no color, and some of the menu items are just not there. Subelements, on the menu, are not working.
The ISP says my (DSL) speed may not be fast enough, but I don't think so.
Could there be something wrong with my profile or with the ftp program built into Alpha5?
I turned off security, on the server, but that didn't help.
Anybody have any ideas?
Question:
Instead of publishing to the "www" folder, I would like to publish to "www\<projectName>".
Is that possible?

- Will the server be able to find my pages, if I just type in "www.domain.com"?
- do I just change the folder name, from www to www\projectName, on my publishing profile?
- Can I do the same for data, from data to data\ProjectName ?
