Agree...I even once made a comment to the effect that the Comment hotspot should be called "Send a Comment"....but that was a looooong time ago. :)

I have received responses about some of the Comments I have sent via the Comment button...but am not certain any of them have been implemented as of yet.

Good idea. Thanks I did not see that it was a link until you pointed it out. I just thought if they had comments about the help page they would be listed below the Comments heading. Looks very much like the rest of the help page and not at all like a link to send comments.

In addition to posting the corrections here, a supposed better place is right in the help file (online version) whereby clicking on the Comments hotspot located at the bottom left side of I believe every help page, brings up a way to communicate the issue to Alpha via email.

Regardless of typos and many important code placement techniques left out of the help file, I managed to figure it out.

I will post corrections to the help file for anyone that would like to have a better version than that provided.

Anyone have an update for the instructions in the help file titled "Using Check Boxes to Select Records"

I have been trying to use the example and it is hard enough to apply to my own problem but it also seems to have many typos that make trying to follow it problematic.

Example of some typos:

Enter the following HTML code and click OK. This line of code adds the "Customer_Id" to a check box selection list.

<input type="check box" name="cust_id[]" value=" {Customer_Id} ">

Should be

<input type="checkbox"

without the space. Also neglects to inform you that the field control type should be set to Custom.

No "end if" here.

I can't get to determine what I am doing wrong as I spend time having to fix what is wrong in the example so far.
