What to do with this loop

Can anybody tel me what is wrong with this code?
It does not seem to step through the table

Peter,

I'm not understanding your intent.

You open "delsess".
You fetch the first record and obtain the delegateoid to a variable.
You then query the table to see if the delegateoid that you just found exists.
How could it not?

What are you trying to do?

The script only processes one record because after the query is run for the first record, fetching the next record fetches the eof marker.

Thank you for the feed back and my apologies for being so vague. This was my first attempt at creating a transpose of delegate activities. Here is my modified version. I am getting �Table not in change or edit mode" in inner loop� I do terminate the change mode with "tbl.change_end(.T.) "

Peter, please use code tags to preserve formatting in your posts. This is an option if you used the advanced reply editor. Just surround the formatted code with html code tags. If I'm reading the script correctly....

From ELSEif vcounter = 2 through the rest of the inner loop you have

tbl.change_begin()
'stuff
tbl.change_end(.T.)

but you are trying to change the tposetable

tPoseTable.Activity2 = tbl.Sessdesc
tPoseTable.Activity3 = tbl.Sessdesc
etc.

Example correction...

tposetable.index_primary_put("DelegateOid")
	recfound = tposetable.fetch_find(vcurrentrec)
	IF recfound > 0 THEN
		msgbox("Counter","The counter number is "+vcounter)
		[COLOR="Red"]tposetable[/COLOR].change_begin()
		tPoseTable.Activity2 = tbl.Sessdesc
		[COLOR="red"]tposetable[/COLOR].change_end(.T.)

Begin reply.

Click "Go Advanced" Button.

Enter your code with indents.

Select all the code (Highlight it all)

Then click the pound sign (#) button on the editor toolbar.

This surrounds the "selected text" with "code" tags.

Then submit your reply
