I found the basis for this code on this message board. I did make numerous changes as needed for my application. Thank you very much.
Right now Im experiencing a brain cramp and Im looking for some suggestions on how someone else may approach my problem.
The table that holds the images is constantly changing. By changing, I mean that the user will be selecting different groupings of pictures. The table is zapped and a different folder of images is written to the table. The table may hold just one picture or may hold hundreds of pictures or any number in between.
The purpose of the form is to allow the user to view a thumb nail of each picture and to select which picture is to be printed. That part is working fine.
I needed a way to show the user which picture was selected. The way I do this now is to change the border properties of the selected picture when the Select button is pressed. Press once and the picture is selected, press again and the picture is deselected.
This works fine as long as the user doesnt change to another page. If the page changes, the selected border property is carried over on to the new page. At first I was thinking about refreshing the new page and clearing the border, but then some of the pictures on the new page may indeed have been selected.
So, instead of changing the border properties, maybe I should look at marking and unmarking the picture record and using a calculated field?
The pictures displayed on the form are not hard coded to the form field. As nothing on the form is hard coded, Im just having trouble putting it together in my head right now.
Thanks,
Ron
