Hide or disable a tab pane on a tabbed form

I have a tabbed pane on a form.
Tab1 =Customer price list.
Tab2 = Master price list
If the user is not in the administrators group than I want to hide or diasble Tab2.
I looked at the conditional xbasic code on the forum but it was confusing for me.
I just want to put the code on the oninit event on the form to do this.

That's not the event that can handle the movement on the tabbed object. You have to do something on the tabbed object. Tab1 will be the default to be shown. Code the cantabchange event.

Additionally, tabs of a tabbed object don't have a property to enable/disable.

You may or may not be able to disable a particular tab (I don't use tab objects..so I am a bit rusty in this department) but you can, either:
1-Enable/disable the objects on that tab, or more eloquently
2-Prevent the user from exploring that tab. How?
Mock script:

Let's say you don't the user to see tab2 in tabbed_object
if tabbed_object.tab_get()=2
if user<> qualify....put here whatever qualifies/disqualifies the user to view tab2
tabbed_object.tab_set(1) 'will take the user back to tab1 or whichever tab you want the user back to
end if
end if

I would use the CanTabChange event on tab1 to stop a user from changing FROM tab 1
To prevent a user from landing on say.. tab 4 then on the OnTabChange include this sort of thing

Page = tabbed2.tab_get() ' my tabbed object name
select
  case page = 4 .and. u_nam<>"vay" 
	ui_msg_box("FORBIDDEN", "You know you can't do this")
	tabbed2.tab_set(1)
 case page = 2
        whatever you want to do upon opening tab2
