Query on ui_html_msg_box

Trying to add some colour to my message boxes, so far without sucess.

I get Error ui_html_error_msg.jpg

then result is shown asui_html_result.jpg

sample code:

minMsn = tablemin("Logging","type_code="+quote(ut(word(type_code,1,"|")))+".and.isnotblank('msn')","val(msn)")

works ok:

ui_msg_box(dlg_title,word(Type_code,2,"|")+": "+minMsn+" to "+maxmsn, UI_INFORMATION_SYMBOL)​

So what am I doing wrong, as I used the example in the Help file to produce the above.

Does it work with Win3d as the colour?
You may need to use the hex value for pale blue.

all the secondary parameters work, I can change box size, box colour, units etc, just does not display the message text. accepts colour names but not hex or rgb values, see example above, all there except the message text

even just ui_html_msg("Title","Message Text") gives the same error as shown in my first post.

I reckon this is bug that was never sorted .it wont refresh and display the message text for some reason.

I have written a rather basic user function to use instead, but I have to hardcode some of the parameters, unless someone can tell me how to pass them to the function?

is there a way of making message2 and message 3 optional, only coded when required?

the only problem I have found is that the not the whole message line is displayed, so have had to add extra characters to do so ?

I got it working using different variables Graham, but I am unclear as to what you are trying to achieve.
By creating variables outside of your data structure, this works.

Are you trying to find the number of errors in a data set?

I am still using the old Alpha5v11 build 3044 from waaaaay back as I cannot afford or justify spending on the latest Anywhere version.

I tried your code which in essense is the same as mine, but I still get the error.

The purpose of the script is to get the range of manufacturers serial numbers used for any particular aircraft, tablemax and tablemin suite my purpose.

I am happy to use my msg_box_with_colour function from now on.
