Help to Translate VBA to Xbasic

Hello everyone!

I have this barcode problem I have been struggling with for months. I want to provide a part number and get a proper barcode out of it. This can be done in the report section by using a barcode font. However, you need the right font AND it just doesn't work in A5. However, I did get the barcode to work in Excel with a VBA script. I've now spent a lot of time trying to convert and then rewrite the VBA code into Xbasic. I also tried along the way the Vbscript function which did not work or possibly I used it incorrectly!
