Is there a way that I can take the duplicate records that i have and make them all update so they are all the same. Reason being is i have multi entrys that are on the same case# and when others lookup the record they may or may not get the one that has the real data entered. So i want to take all duplicates make them all have the same exact data so i can delete the other duplicates without loosing data.

Try a Search First
It is highly recommended that a Search be done on your topic before posting, as many questions have been answered in prior posts. As with any search engine, the shorter the search term, the more "hits" will be returned, but the more specific the search term is, the greater the relevance of those "hits". Searching for "table" might well return every message on the board while "tablesum" would greatly restrict the number of messages returned.
When you do post
First, make sure you are posting your question in the correct forum. For example, if you post an issue regarding Desktop applications on the Mobile & Browser Applications board , not only will your question not be seen by the appropriate audience, it may also be removed or relocated.
The more detail you provide about your problem or question, the more likely someone is to understand your request and be able to help. A sample database with a minimum of records (and its support files, zipped together) will make it much easier to diagnose issues with your application. Screen shots of error messages are especially helpful.
When explaining how to reproduce your problem, please be as detailed as possible. Describe every step, click-by-click and keypress-by-keypress. Otherwise when others try to duplicate your problem, they may do something slightly different and end up with different results.
A note about attachments
You may only attach one file to each message. Attachment file size is limited to 2MB. If you need to include several files, you may do so by zipping them into a single archive.
If you forgot to attach your files to your post, please do NOT create a new thread. Instead, reply to your original message and attach the file there.
When attaching screen shots, it is best to attach an image file (.BMP, .JPG, .GIF, .PNG, etc.) or a zip file of several images, as opposed to a Word document containing the screen shots. Because Word documents are prone to viruses, many message board users will not open your Word file, therefore limiting their ability to help you.
Similarly, if you are uploading a zipped archive, you should simply create a .ZIP file and not a self-extracting .EXE as many users will not run your EXE file.

You can do almost anything if you can express the problem so that Alpha understands what you want.
when others lookup the record they may or may not get the one that has the real data entered.
It might be that you have to use the find duplicate records genie to mark the real records and then delete the unmarked records. (or the reverse) right click on the table in the control panel, utilities, delete duplicate records.There can be only one.

I work with a bunch of non-computer useing individuals. When I put the records in they get a case # put with them and indexed for lookup. Well most of them type with one finger and fat finger numbers when entering a lookup. If they do a lookup and record isn't found they start a new record and it make a dupe. When it goes to another department they only see info for that dept. So they would enter data on the first record found and the case# would be the same the record # is what keeps them seperated. So for example i have case# 1000-23-a4454 when i look in a browse i can find the dupes and see that there is 3 1000-23-a4454 but the first one has important info address,city,state,zip,finances. when they fat finger the case# and get no record they start a new record and then when it gets to the payment department for verifacation they put in the case# and get the origanal record that was suppose to come up to start but fat fingers didn't look and got in a rush and started a new record. When the payment dept enters the cc info and amount paid it's in the wrong record that the next department would want to use. I hope this sums it up.

I think you need to prevent the creation of duplicates. Otherwise all will be chaos and you will never be sure you have all of the records or the correct record (if there is one which there well may not be as some data may be in only one record and other data only in another).
I suggest separating the creation of a client with the entering of data for that client. Somehow.
This may require some changes in how the organization processes clients. If this process is irrational computerization will only magnify the irrationality.
I had to advocate something similar in my own organization. Took several years but it was worth it.
