I am having difficulty finding where in the Alpha Help database to do the following:
1. Navigation between forms. I need to be able to have an invisible button placed behind some screen text that when the mouse flies over the text the flyover text reads: Search Contacts. Once clicked the Contact Search form opens. I will create the contact search form from a set called contact companies.set. I will create other similar invisible navigation buttons once I understand the steps involved and see how this code needs to be written, but I need one sample. I am not sure whether this requires the creation of a menus table or something else. Once clicked the current form should be closed.
2. Add Navigation Buttons. I need to be able to click on a button with a bitmap icon image on it that when the mouse flies over the button the flyover text reads: Add a Contact. Once clicked the Add Contact form opens. I will create the Add a Contact form from a set called contact companies.set. I will create other similar bitmap icon buttons once I understand the steps involved and see how this code needs to be written, but again I need one sample. Again, I am not sure whether this requires the creation of a menus table or something else. Once clicked the current form should be closed.
3. Edit Navigation Buttons. I need to be able to click on a button with a bitmap icon image on it that when the mouse flies over the flyover text reads: Edit Current Contact. Once clicked the Edit Current Contact form opens. I will create the Edit Current Contact form from a set called contact companies.set. I will create other similar bitmap icon buttons once I understand the steps involved and see how this code needs to be written, but again I need a sample. Again, I am not sure whether this requires the creation of a menus table or something else. Once the edit screen is completed you should be returned to the current form to view the changed record.
I think anyone for any help you can offer or direction you can provide.
