Multiple Events CANSAVE or CANSAVE Record

Hello,

From a few tweeks on the Alpha5 Invoice entry, I made a cansave event. When I just have one condition with a UI Message Box, it works ok. However, if I add another if Statement to check, it only executes the first condition if True, and not the other. I also tried this in the CANSAVE record event, and it behaves the same way.

Try commenting out the end statements.

You also have a line

'Set the table order to the key expression

followed by nothing I can see that accomplishes the same?

Thanks Stan,

I removed the two end statements, and noticed that when I went to execute the statement, I was getting a subelement not found on the next statement. When I added the
"dim tbl as P"
along with the "tbl = table.open("product",FILE_RW_SHARED)"
Then the code works. The only problem now is that it loops two on the cancel button times before saving the record. Ryland

Not sure what you're saying about the looping. I just noticed the end first.

I don't think you need to close the table as you do either.
