Help with Xdialog/ListView

I have a Xdialog that displays in ListView records (filtered based on certain criteria) from a table. This was build with AS. It works fine. I would like now to add some icing on the cake, ie display the number of records shown in the list next to the Cancel button. I already have inserted a label (Nbr of Records: ) that shows right next to the Cancel button. What I need now and don't know how to do is to compute the number of records shown in the list in order to display it next to my label.
I converted the script to Xbasic to try to determine which variable contains the list of records so I can use the *Count() function to obtain the number in the list but could find the variable in question. Any idea? - Thanks

Not sure if this is the number you want but...

Start the inline basic with

Dim global recs as N

then in the GetContents function

dim global recs as n
	arrContents.Clear()
...
...
...		
	t = table.open(pTableDef.TableName, FILE_RO_SHARED)
	recs = t.records_get()
	arrContents.resize(recs)
...
...

Then in the xdialog

<*15=ok_button_label!OK> <15=cancel_button_label!CANCEL>;
Nbr or Rec: 
{text=40,1recs};
{endregion};

Thanks for jumping in.
Your calc return the total number of records in the table. What I am after is the number of records that appear in the Dialog box (varies between 1 to 20/30). I imagine A5 stores the records (that appear in the dialog box) in one of the a variables in the script, but not experienced enough to spot the variable in question. If I could, I would then be able to use *Count() to get the number or records displayed.

Hi Guys:
I think I found the variable in question: it seems the list of records is stored in the variable zselected_pLV.contents, ... need an expert to confirm it. So
1) created a global var as Stan suggested (Dim global Recs as N)
2) Right after the line: zselected_pLV.contents = etc.... (line 129) I put: Recs=*Count(zselected_pLV.contents)
3) displayed the variable in the box as suggested by Stan.

Gaby, I modified your script, using a second button on your form. The following line numbers refer to my script.

Lines 13 and 14 declare new variables

Lines 81 and 82 get the number of "lines" in the string being passed to the listview control and then modify the text string to be displayed at the bottom of the dialog.

Line 205 displays the dynamic string
