Ok, here is the problem.
On my form I have a button that pulls up a radio box that has different search criteria in it. Name, Customer, SSN, Date Complete, Spouse etc. You click the button you want to search by, and a box pops up with all the correct fields to fill in. Now, you can move seamlessly back and forth between all of the criteria and change the fields, run searches all day long with no problem. It just updates the same browse over and over with no problems.
After doing a search, if you want to delete a specific record, you select it in the browse, and then I have a button that you hit to delete that particular record. The reason for the button is that the boss wanted it to be password protected so that not just anybody could delete the reports. The button is set up with a straight Action Script for "Delete Record from current embedded browse" and it works perfectly. However, once you delete the record, and then try to go and search for something else, all of my search criteria fields are inaccessible. They pop up, but when you tab over to them or click on them, they fill with a solid color and are unresponsive. I have to close the form and re-open it to get that functionality back.
I tried to make a stripped down version of the form to upload but everytime I did I couldn't get the error to duplicate. I have tried stripping pieces out, adding them back in, nothing. I've tried all of the resynch and refresh tricks I know to see if that helps, and nothing. The only time it happens is when I delete a single record. If anybody knows of a way around this or a way to force it to allow me to change the fields for more searches or something I'm not thinking of, please let me know. Thanks!
