Convert Script to v5

The following script works on a form to open another form and go to the same client's record, without limiting the form to just that record. But it does not work in the current build of v5.

Can anyone see a problem with the following.

Tom, I don't see anything obviously wrong but I wonder if you are starting from the right form? Once I reformatted the script it was obvious that the first IF statement simply opens another form if the "Fullname" form is *NOT* open. This seems odd to me but presumably it makes sense to you.

Here's the reformatted script with a few added comments (in upper case) that may or may not help:

I'll take a look at it. FULLNAME is a field on the form which sets the variable vPatient.

In version five you can get a pointer directly to the layout variables on a form and manipulate their contents:

f = form.load("My_New_form")
v = f.variables()
v.My_defined_layout_variable = "The Sum of All Fears"
f.show()
f.activate()

(You could do this before; it's simply much easier and more straightforward under version Five).
