A simple table  in_out.dbf
With just 3 fields  product(char) /in (num)/ out (num)
Every product `in` or `out` is a new record.
For each product there may be 20 records `in` and 50 records `out`
There are over 250 products - out of these over 60% have zero balances in the report. would like to mark those products with zero balances in the table to post or append in new table `in_out sold` and delete these records so that the report generated do not include these zero values.
the report has only 2 fields - product / bal_calc
Have given up on shrinking these records not to display zero values for
allow shrink when printing` & `allow shrink` & `shrink contents of band` (in group properties) DO NOT seem to work on summary calculations.( or am I missing something).
Balcalc = Calc->in_G1-Calc->out_G1
Where:
Calc->In_G1 = TOTAL(in,GRP->product)
Calc->Out_G1 = TOTAL(out,GRP->product)
(balcalc = TOTAL(in,GRP->product)-TOTAL(out,GRP->product)
also does not work to hide zero values.
Question: Is there any operation or xbasics which would mark or delete these zero products balance records instead of manually marking or deleting each record, as there are now nearly 8,000 records, to carry on the post or append operation.. (in case, manually chances of error are high for each product number is similar)
Alternately: is there a way that these zero value records do not appear in the report.
(would like to say that have successfully managed to hide records in other table reports with zero values but these were based on the fields itself & `allow shrink` works perfectly).
Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.
