Sorry for the multiiple post, my internet connection is doing crazy things this morning, now I'm doubly ashamed!

Could anyone help me with formula to add up some table values ? I am struggling to get my head around the formulae and syntax:o …
I have one large table named Scores in which responses to a survey are stored. The survey will consist of different categories, and within each categories, questions numbered 1-4. As the survey is conducted, values denoting the category and the question being asked will be stored in the fields Category and QNum respectively, while the products nominated by the respondent will be stored in two further fields - maker and model.
What I want to do is extract data from the responses by category to a browse where it can be summarised and exported to Excel. In the browse I want to view the total score for a product from all questions in the category, and the sub total for individual questions 1-4.
My plan was to filter the Scores table on category, then apply a unique index and copy the records to a table called Results with identical fields – plus some additional fields for the totals. I’m afraid I’ve lost myself when it comes to writing the formulae for these totals... Tried DBSUM and TABLESUM but struggled to write the filter to isolate down to individual product and specific question numbers. Could anyone suggest a way to do this? I've attached a zip file of the database with my botched effort so far.
All help gratefully received!
Kind regards
David
NB As I will only be analysing one category at a time then exporting to excel, the intention was to use just the one Results table and delete the records afterwards.
