How do you break the current iteration of a while loop?

I noticed that 'continue' is a reserved word, but it doesn't do anything in my loop.
(In C continue would end the current iteration and start again on the next iteration)

Exit while totally exits the while loop. I just want to break the current iteration.

I just add a logical variable to the while loop. For example

DIM lExitWhile AS L = F

WHILE (<some condition you want to check> .AND. (.NOT. lExitWhile))

	<do loop tasks>
	
	IF (<some condition you need to break while on>) THEN
		lExitWhile = .T.
	END IF
END WHILE

If you want to only skip the current iteration of the while loop and not exit you can just use a goto statement as Keith said or the other option is just put all the contents of the while loop code in a IF statement. So the code within the while will only run if that condition a condition is true. Below is the code for a goto.

WHILE (<some condition you want to check>)
	IF (<some condition you need to skip current itteration of while on>) THEN
		GOTO SKIP_WHILE
	END IF

	<do loop tasks>

	SKIP_WHILE:	
END WHILE

I find that using GOTO is a cleaner solution than using a logical. (At least in my case). Thanks!
