Bonus TIPS for Successful Posting

Try a Search First
It is highly recommended that a Search be done on your topic before posting, as many questions have been answered in prior posts. As with any search engine, the shorter the search term, the more "hits" will be returned, but the more specific the search term is, the greater the relevance of those "hits". Searching for "table" might well return every message on the board while "tablesum" would greatly restrict the number of messages returned.

When you do post
First, make sure you are posting your question in the correct forum. For example, if you post an issue regarding Desktop applications on the Mobile & Browser Applications board , not only will your question not be seen by the appropriate audience, it may also be removed or relocated.

The more detail you provide about your problem or question, the more likely someone is to understand your request and be able to help. A sample database with a minimum of records (and its support files, zipped together) will make it much easier to diagnose issues with your application. Screen shots of error messages are especially helpful.

When explaining how to reproduce your problem, please be as detailed as possible. Describe every step, click-by-click and keypress-by-keypress. Otherwise when others try to duplicate your problem, they may do something slightly different and end up with different results.

A note about attachments
You may only attach one file to each message. Attachment file size is limited to 2MB. If you need to include several files, you may do so by zipping them into a single archive.

If you forgot to attach your files to your post, please do NOT create a new thread. Instead, reply to your original message and attach the file there.

When attaching screen shots, it is best to attach an image file (.BMP, .JPG, .GIF, .PNG, etc.) or a zip file of several images, as opposed to a Word document containing the screen shots. Because Word documents are prone to viruses, many message board users will not open your Word file, therefore limiting their ability to help you.

Similarly, if you are uploading a zipped archive, you should simply create a .ZIP file and not a self-extracting .EXE as many users will not run your EXE file.

    Site check please

Thanks to anyone that takes the time to look.
This site is real important to me and others. Honest opinions are desired.
I will be selling an alpha application from this, so it is a tiny bit alpha.
The SEO is 65% which is pretty high for the tool I check with. If everything checks here, I will get it raised to around 85%.
It will be going adsense, and other in about 3 weeks.
    Thanks again.

              @Dr. Gary Traub

Sorry sir. I really appreciate your diligence and alerting me.
There was an issue in Dallas where the servers are and it caused Hostoople to have to reboot all of it. I called and they explained this.

I like your site. Looks like a wordpress site. I chose joomla over wordpress for a couple reasons, but the main one "at that time" was fluid motion for cell phones and tablets.

Allstars is wide open so you can place it in the forum. Write a blog there and present it. Sell your software in the store. Allstars will be getting a facelift in the very near future to allow even more than now to the members. Appallstars has already been revamped. As you know, the database stuff was done by alan sawyer. He actually made both sites into one joomla database and added stuff for the members. He is the sql master to me.
I would definitely put this image in a blog m2oscreen2x_o01.jpg

I generally make website a bit on the busy side. Reason is that people stay longer. The longer they stay, the more likely they are to purchase/return.

                      Dave:

                      Much, much better.

I didn't dig in deep, but the only things that I noticed were the pictures on the home page are blurry, and the red on the pricing page made my eyes bleed.

Also, no phone or email address, which were there, originally?

Otherwise, it looks pretty good to me!

Phone and email were moved. red is going to be changed to blue and made smaller.

Thanks Dave, correct - wordpress easiest and came installed. Like you I'm chief cook, taster and bottle washer - sales people want trim non tech website and no budget for a proper web person .. that's def not me!.
I will get round to follow your good advice.

Yes. My audience will be mostly 40 and up, but kind of smart, but not normal web buyers. I know I have to have some dazzle and razzle to keep them there long enough to look. Will they want that for their church site? Not really. Most will not fill out anything other than a contact form until a phone call is made. They want to hear it with their ears first.
The razzle dazzle will hopefully keep them on the site for more than 30 seconds and if they stay longer than that, they are super interested and will buy or come back later to buy.
Reason for joomla is simple. At the time I started these wordpress did not have fluid sites. By the time they did, I was pretty invested in joomla themes and tools.

If you want to see something neat and I am just starting with it. Look at http://www.allministrysites.com/demo2

Starting to look very good Dave, some great elements appear possible. Select carefully.
What are you "selling" exactly - a web service for ministries to enroll and update their members - is that right?
Thats not too clear at this stage of its development.
