I have two companies (called big company and small company) - so two projects in QRB - both using same version of QB. I created an accounts receivable aging report in the small company (project) from the standard QB report "OpenInvoices" - table Qbreport_openinvoices4.
Then, from the small project, I exported my report to a filename using "Export a Report Definition" from the QRB home page; then, from the big project, I tried to import that filename - but got the message "report can't be imported because it is based on the table "Qbreport_openinvoices4" and this table does not exist in the big project.
I don't understand why it doesn't exist - when I refreshed the big company to QRB - the initial and total refresh - the list of tables that failed to be brought over to QRB did not include this table. After the refresh is done and it shows you what tables were refreshed and what tables failed it also asks if you want a report of the results - I said Yes and the report said "tables successfully refreshed (0 tables): There were no tables that could not be refreshed". I have no idea what this means. If I go into the big project now and start to create a report, I see lots of tables to pick from and also see OpenInvoices in green (indicating that it is a standard QB report).
Any advice would be appreciated - please be specific and don't be scared of "talking down to me", as I am as new as new can be and not very experienced at using things like QRB. If it would take too long to respond in writing and you would be willing to help me on the phone, I will call you back so that I incur the charges rather than you.
Thanks,
