Attached (I hope) are two images. It is the bottom right embedded browse giving me the problem.

If you have cascade changes and deletes turned on, try dropping that and test

Thanks very much Stan. It works like I wanted.
Very simple answer I wouldn't have thought of.
My presumption is that a grandchild 1-many should work but referential integrity shouldn't be enforced.

Well, I am not Stan and did not see anything from Stan in this post, but glad it worked.
From past experience, it did seem logical.
Most of my apps use No ref integrity. Seems to affect speed among other thigs, so is reserved to "as really needed" status.

Haven't heard from Stan in several months
