Default How to connect to a MS SQL Server using an encrypted connection ??

I am starting to port an app from Access to Alpha Five and run into a bit of a problem....

The SQL server I connect to requires an encrypted connection (SSL)
so currently my ODBC connect string looks like this

    "ODBC;Description=DataConnection;DRIVER=SQL Server;SERVER=MyServer;UID=MyUser;PWD=MyPassword;DATABASE=MyDatabase;Encrypt=True;Network=DBMSSOCN"

    NOTE: the "Encrypt=True"

How do I do this in a AlphaDAO Connect string

PLEASE tell me this is possable!

    Thanks in advance

Bruce - have you tried just putting that into the connection string? Make a new connection string, and instead of using the builder, just copy in what you need. Does that work?

Oh OK, I didn't know you could manually edit the connection string, I will give that a try.
    Thanks Steve
