I've been having issues for two days trying to get a dialog control to work and when I finally did in V10 we upgraded to V11.
My problem is trying to create a filtered dynamic dropdown box.
In V10 I could use the genie for filtering simple queries that use an = or > for example. It had the little tab (parameter mapping) that would let me set the variable I was filtering with to one of the other buttons in the dialog. However, something complex, like "LIKE" would have to be done in the query builder. Unfortunately, the Query builder errored out whenever I'd try to set a variable. Now that I'm on V11 I see that they've gotten rid of the simple filter in the SQL Genie and are forcing me to use "expert mode" which gives me the same error message when I try to set a parameter. Now I have NO way to set the parameter!
Here's the fateful error message:
Script:UI_DLG_BOX:@=A5_SQLGenie_144629902 line:635
tabChange_preview(lv)

Here's the query I'm trying to run, straight from my V10 form:
This is extremely frustrating. I finally got the queries to work in V10 but in V11 I have no way I can see of passing my variables into them!
By the way, the tool that's supposed to convert V10 Dialogs to V11 is broken on my computer as well. It errors out; and better yet, leaves the "converting" pop-up box on my screen and the only way to get rid of it is close alpha.
Here's the query after that one, which works in V10 and I'm sure won't work here either:
