I'm finding that the html output is truncating any trailing zeros in my price and extended price columns. These columns have 2 decimal places.
The trailing zeros are saved properly in the SQL database, so it seems that the html generation is causing this.



Also, I'd like to align-right some of the columns, such as Qty, Price, & Ext Price.
I've tried stuff like this: html_message = html_message + "<td><p align="right">"+Qty+"</p></td>" .. etc, etc, but it complains about the extra double quotes.

I'm having not much luck on either of these issues.
Not really a biog deal, but if you have any suggestions, I'm all ears (or eyes). :-)

may be this way and your attachment did not come thru.

Hmmm, that's odd. It was just a screenshot showing the trimmed zeros.

if you are using html5 or newer browsers you may set it with css, better ( <p align will be gone soon>)

But I think the browser is not the issue, this is the resulting output from the email client. I thought email was just html or plain text. Perhaps I'm wrong

I'm not sure why the trailing zeros are removed though. Anyone have any thoughts on it? The values are saved to the database properly so I wouldn't really expect this behaviour.

they are numbers, in html they need to be converted to characters(strings), I am sure.
try converting them to strings and see.

Price = rs.data("Unit_Price")
cPrice = alltrim(str(price,6,2))

ExtPrice = rs.data("Extended_Price")
cExtprice = alltrim(str(Extprice,6,2))

then instead of price and ExtPrice send these two cPrice and cExtprice

you should still add alltrim, since str will add extra spaces.

It doesn't seem to be adding extra spaces but I'll add the alltrim just to be on the safe side ... thanks.
