I have two grids, one based on linked tables and the other on a table (which is also part of the linked tables. Both grids have a search part which contains the same date field and both are set to enter a begin and end date. I created a report for each grid and placed a button below the search part to print the reports and said reports print for each grid. The search part, a begin date and an end date filter the records properly on both grids.
The problem: When I click the button to run the report on the grid which is based on the single table, un-filters the table and all records show instead of the filtered records. There is a significant difference in the way the java-script genie creates the buttons. Attached are screenshots of each genie showing the differences which is how the arguments are defined.
PrintGenie-1 is for the grid which is based on the linked tables. This one works, enter a begin and end date in the search part, click search, the records are filtered. Click the print button and the records showing in the grid are printed.
PrintGenie-2 is for the grid based on the single table. Enter the begin and end date, click search and the grid is filtered, Click the print button and all the records are printed rather than the filtered records. I think what is happening, is that even though the arguments are defined in PrintGenie-2 and bound to the same field, Paid_Date., for some reason the binding is not working as it should.
BIG PROBLEM>> Alpha thinks I've already attached 5 files to this post and there are none. Alpha's uploader hasn't worked for me in a long, long time. Bah Humbug.
