Argh.
I know A5 is a RAD tool and it's supposed to save me time, but I find myself constantly stopped but stupid @#$@ that would be crazily obvious in Visual Basic or C# or damn near any ordinary language. In this case it is the obfuscation of image locations when in the designer.
When I'm in the designer for a UX component or a GRID component many, most, or all of my images will NOT display in the PREVIEW or WORKING PREVIEW tabs.
Oddly, they will display just fine in the LIVE PREVIEW tab and in the app once it is posted.
I had the reverse problem once before (displaying in Preview/Working-Preview but not in Live-Preview) and sorted it out by moving copies of images under my project directory.
Perhaps this has something to do with the [PathAlias.ADB_Path], but I have no idea what (and yes, I've looked a several related links on the Forum).
I've moved images around, build A5W pages to display the alias, etc. But the bottom line is that these images were added directly to the project and exist in the project directory in the appropriate sub-directory and are copied to the A5Webroot directory automatically.
It's got to be something stupidly simple. So simple that it isn't easily found with a search. Or in a help menu.
Any input/direction will be appreciated. Thanks.
