    Once I get this figured out I can finish a project.

    Do you mean find the com port in general or programmatically? And, since this is Alpha Anywhere, are you asking for the server or the client?

    If you mean in general, you can see assigned COM ports through the Windows Bluetooth Devices control panel item.

    Programmatically, I can think of a few ways (but all indirectly - command line util, .NET, examining the registry, etc.).
