Anyone else running into this?:
I think I've defined this, but not sure yet despite a lot of fiddling. I put action buttons on a grid's toolbar. Randomly, but very regularly, I run into problems where the buttons don't work. The CSS toggles as I click on them, but no javascript fires at all. This seems to only be a problem when I'm using the iOS style.
I have re-created buttons, re-saved buttons, did just everything I can think of on a couple dozen grids (I never know which one it's going to be, when, etc) and never know exactly what the fix might be. Tonight I have two button that, after two hours, I cannot get to respond with any javascript.
Yet the same buttons, same grid, work fine when I'm using, say, MoBlue as my CSS. The grid style is set to <ProjectStyle> so the buttons work where I've implemented it with MoBlue but not where the style is iOS.
Update:
I've now decided that the problem may not be the iOS style. Using one grid as an example where I'm having a problem, I just set the grid style to MoBlue, and loaded the grid, but still no button response. This is implemented from a UX Panel, but I loaded the grid to not use the project style (iOS) but rather to use the design style (MoBlue).
This makes the definition of the problem about impossible so far. But the experience is clear: Action Buttons on a grid, under some conditions, do not respond at all. Problem is figuring out the conditions, and I've spent a lot of time on this and still have no clue.
I'd submit a bug to Alpha if I could replicate it, but I can't reliably -- I don't know the conditions or configuration to cause it. It just happens and I find out about it when a user complains.
