Render total in "summary" section

Attached is an image of a grid that has a summary count. It's based upon a view and uses group by as the image shows. I need to put the total count at the bottom, not the top. I'm setting the value using e.summarySectionHTML = e.rtc._state.count

The math is good, just need to put the results below.

Suggestions?

P.S. I can out it in a session var in the ff footer but that is a clunky solution.

Put a div with id "below" in your grid's freeform area below grid

<div id="below"></div>

And this code in your OnSummarySectionRender event

e.summarySectionHTML = "blabla"
dim mySummarySectionHTML as c = e.summarySectionHTML

e.summarySectionHTML = "<div id='hidden' style='display:none;'>blabla</div>"

e.javascript = "$('below').innerHTML ='" + mySummarySectionHTML +"';"

There's probably smarter ways to do it but this works

Of course there is a smarter way...

Put again a div with id "below" in your grid's freeforma area below the grid:

<div id="below"></div>

dim mySummarySectionHTML as c = "whatever summary stuff you come up with"

e.javascript = "$('below').innerHTML ='" + mySummarySectionHTML +"';"

True, but this is not "normal". I'm using a view with group by clause counting grouped records. Thus I have to use onSQLCountQuery & onSQLSelectQuery events. When I use the OnSummarySectionRender it puts at top as you see, for reasons unknown.

summaries are usually rendered within the grid in the column of the summarized field but here you can manipulate things yourself

A better solution is needed.

Originally, I mentioned Grids in the post, not Lists ... which I am actually using.

How about using a country "name" that will alphabetically sort last with an AS to force it to sort at bottom.
