The title of this post says it all. Function to close window(s) run a script or series of commands and the reopen window
This function will allow button on a form to invoke a operation that requires exclusive access to the tables the form is based on, a good example is packing the table the form is based on. It can also be used anywhere exclusive access is required to all tables such as a backup or restore operation. In fact the code is based on the backup code generated by the xBasic Genie (I think?) However the code has been extensively commented so it should be easier to figure out how it works.
